Terms of Service

Milk & Minutes by Cardin LLC

Effective Date:

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Milk & Minutes (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cardin LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the App.

2. Description of Service

Milk & Minutes is a baby feeding tracker for iOS 17.0 and later. The App allows parents and caregivers to log and track nursing, pumping, and bottle feeding sessions; create and manage child profiles; view feeding history and insights; share feeding data with family members; and manage subscription access to Pro features.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without liability.

3. Account Types

3.1 Guest / Anonymous Accounts

You may use Milk & Minutes without creating an account. The App automatically creates an anonymous account associated with your device.

  • No personal information is required to get started.
  • Risk of data loss: Anonymous accounts are tied to your device and app installation. If you delete the app, lose your device, or cannot restore from iCloud backup, your data may be permanently lost. Cardin LLC is not responsible for loss of data associated with anonymous accounts.
  • For anonymous users with iCloud enabled, the App backs up feeding records and child profiles to your personal iCloud account to help protect against data loss. This backup is not a guarantee of recovery and is subject to Apple's iCloud availability and your iCloud storage capacity.

We strongly encourage anonymous users to link their account to a registered account to ensure data preservation.

3.2 Registered Accounts

You may create a registered account by signing in with Apple or providing an email address and password. With a registered account, your data is associated with your authenticated identity and accessible across devices.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create a registered account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
  • You may not use another person's account without their permission.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Report suspected unauthorized access to support@milkandminutes.com immediately.

3.3 Account Linking

Anonymous accounts can be linked to Sign in with Apple or an email and password at any time through app settings. All data is preserved seamlessly upon linking. Once linked, your account becomes a registered account with all associated benefits and responsibilities.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Milk & Minutes only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
  • Track children who are not in your care or for whom you do not have lawful parental or guardian authority to collect data.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the App, our servers, or any connected system or network.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, worms, or other harmful software through the App.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access or interact with the App in a manner not intended by Cardin LLC.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent any subscription or access control mechanisms.
  • Share account credentials with others outside of the explicitly permitted Family Sharing feature.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5. Family Sharing

5.1 Overview

Milk & Minutes allows you to create a family group and invite other adults to share access to child feeding data — designed for co-parents, partners, grandparents, and professional caregivers.

5.2 Roles and Permissions

Each family member is assigned one of four roles:

  • Owner: Full access to all feeding data plus the ability to manage family members, roles, and overall settings. The Owner is the creator of the family group.
  • Admin: Full access to all feeding data plus the ability to manage member roles and invite or remove members (other than the Owner).
  • Caregiver: Can log new feeding sessions and view existing feeding data and child profiles.
  • Viewer: Can view feeding data and child profiles but cannot log sessions or make any modifications.

5.3 Invitations

Family members are invited by sharing an invite code generated within the App. You are responsible for the security of invite codes you generate. Do not share invite codes publicly or with individuals you do not intend to invite.

5.4 Data Access and Responsibility

By inviting a person to your family group, you explicitly authorize that person to access your child profiles and feeding records according to their role. You represent that you have the legal right to share this information with the individuals you invite.

Cardin LLC is not responsible for the actions of family members you invite or for any data they view, copy, or otherwise access pursuant to their role in your family group.

5.5 Removal of Members

An Owner or Admin may remove a family member from the group at any time. Upon removal:

  • The removed member's access to all shared family data is immediately revoked.
  • The removed member can no longer view, log, or interact with the family's data.
  • Data previously logged by the removed member remains part of the family group's records.

A member may also leave a group voluntarily through app settings.

5.6 Owner Responsibility

The Owner is responsible for managing membership and ensuring all invited members are authorized to access the data. Remove members promptly when they should no longer have access.

6. AI Features

6.1 Apple Intelligence (On-Device, Optional)

Milk & Minutes optionally integrates with Apple Intelligence using Apple's FoundationModels framework on iOS 26 and later. When you opt in:

  • Personalized explanations of feeding insights are generated entirely on your device.
  • No personal data is transmitted to Apple, Cardin LLC, or any third party for this purpose.
  • This feature is entirely optional and the App functions fully without it.
  • AI-generated explanations are informational only and do not constitute medical advice. See Section 8.
  • This feature requires iOS 26+ and a compatible device. We may modify or remove it at any time based on Apple platform changes.

6.2 AI Clipboard Export (User-Initiated Data Sharing)

The App includes a feature that allows you to export a structured summary of your feeding data to your device clipboard for use with external AI tools of your choosing.

By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The export is entirely user-initiated. We do not automatically send your data to any external AI service.
  • Once you paste your exported data into a third-party application, that data is subject to that application's terms of service and privacy policy — not ours.
  • Cardin LLC has no control over and is not responsible for how third-party AI tools process, store, or use data you submit to them.
  • You assume all responsibility for any data you choose to export and submit to third-party services.
  • You should review the privacy policy of any external service before submitting sensitive information about yourself or your child.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

7.1 Free and Pro Access

Milk & Minutes is available with a free tier and an optional “Milk & Minutes Pro” subscription that unlocks additional features including advanced insights, data export, and enhanced functionality.

7.2 Subscription Plans

Pro access is available on a monthly or annual basis. Current pricing is displayed in the App and the Apple App Store. All subscriptions are auto-renewing.

7.3 Billing Through Apple

All subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Cardin LLC does not process or store your payment card information. All billing inquiries should be directed to Apple.

7.4 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

7.5 Free Trials

If you begin a free trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires.

7.6 Cancellation

Cancel at any time through iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features through the end of the period for which you have paid.

7.7 Refunds

All refund requests must be directed to Apple. Cardin LLC cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. Apple's standard refund policies apply.

7.8 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Continued subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8. Medical Disclaimer

Milk & Minutes is a tracking and informational tool only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical care.

Feeding data, insights, patterns, and any AI-generated explanations provided by the App are for informational and organizational purposes only. They do not constitute diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or medical advice. Do not rely on information from this App to make medical decisions.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional — including your pediatrician, lactation consultant, or other licensed provider — for advice concerning your child's health, feeding, growth, and development. If you believe your child is experiencing a medical emergency, contact your healthcare provider or emergency services immediately.

Cardin LLC expressly disclaims any liability for actions taken or not taken based on information provided by the App.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Property

The App and all its content, design, code, trademarks, and materials are owned by Cardin LLC or its licensors and protected by United States and international intellectual property law. “Milk & Minutes” and associated logos are trademarks of Cardin LLC. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

9.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant Cardin LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the service as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to enter all data you provide into the App and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party.

9.3 Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant Cardin LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback without restriction or compensation.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cardin LLC expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Cardin LLC does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; that defects will be corrected; or that your data will always be available or will not be lost. You use the App at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cardin LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid in subscription fees in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions or limitations. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cardin LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the App;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Data you enter into the App, including any claim that such data infringes the rights of a third party;
  • Any family members you invite and their use of the App;
  • Any data you export and submit to third-party services via AI Clipboard Export.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may delete your account and stop using the App at any time through app settings. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — cancel separately through iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to stop future charges. Your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy upon account deletion.

13.2 By Cardin LLC

We may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice if we reasonably believe:

  • You have violated these Terms;
  • Your account is being used for fraudulent or illegal purposes;
  • Your account poses a security risk to other users or the App; or
  • We are required to do so by applicable law.

We may also discontinue the App or any features thereof at any time.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination for any reason:

  • Your right to access and use the App is immediately revoked.
  • Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (generally deleted within 30 days for registered accounts).
  • Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 survive termination.
  • Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations that arose prior to termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14.2 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute, contact us at support@milkandminutes.com with a written description of the dispute and the relief you are seeking. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days. This step is a prerequisite to any formal proceeding.

14.3 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), in Texas. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You and Cardin LLC each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

Claims may only be brought in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

14.4 Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent intellectual property infringement or address data security concerns. Qualifying small claims court actions are excluded from mandatory arbitration.

14.5 Time Limitation

Any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the App must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, or it is permanently barred.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be modified. The remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cardin LLC regarding your use of Milk & Minutes and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations on the subject matter.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms at milkandminutes.com, update the Effective Date, and notify you through the App and/or email. Your continued use of Milk & Minutes after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
